The Ayam Cemani is a rare breed of chicken from Indonesia. They have a dominant gene that causes hyperpigmentation, making the chicken mostly black, including feathers, beak, and internal organs. Occasional feather color leakage is possible at hatch if buying eggs. For us any color leakage is a cull, fibro first is a priority when breeding Cemani, this means skin, tongue, mouth, comb, waddles, not feathering.
