We offer local pickup and are available at local farmers markets seasonally. Delivery is available at additional cost. Please reach out to us if you have any questions before placing your order.
Dessert Bakery Sales Policy
1. Ordering and Payment:
a. All orders must be placed at least 72 hours in advance to ensure availability and proper preparation of your desired desserts.
b. Payments can be made through our secure online payment system. We accept credit/debit cards, and online transfers via PayPal and Venmo.
c. For large orders or special events, we ask for you to please notify us in advance at least 5 days prior to the event.
2. Cancellation and Refunds:
a. Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled pickup or delivery time will receive a refund.
b. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order value.
c. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time.
3. Pickup and Delivery:
a. Pickup: Orders can be picked up at our Farmstead. You will be emailed or texted to arrange pickup of your order. Please ensure prompt pickup to maintain the freshness and quality of your desserts.
b. Delivery: We offer delivery services within a specified radius from our bakery for an additional fee. Delivery charges may vary depending on the distance and order size. Please contact us if requiring delivery. Please provide accurate delivery details in the notes section and ensure someone is available to receive the order at the specified location and time. We do offer shipping via USPS for fresh baked Bread and Sourdough and select Desserts.
4. Quality Assurance and Allergen Information:
a. We take utmost care in ensuring the quality and freshness of our desserts. However, please note that our products may contain allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. If you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us at the time of placing your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
b. It is important to consume our desserts within the recommended timeframe for the best taste and quality. We are not responsible for any changes in taste or texture if the desserts are not consumed within the recommended timeframe. We use NO preservatives in our baked goods and as such recommend to refrigerate or freeze our desserts if they are not consumed within at least 2-3 hours.
5. Customization:
a. At Mockingbird Homestead, we take pride in offering a wide variety of pre-designed desserts that are carefully crafted to deliver the best taste and quality. While we do not offer extensive customization options, we are confident that you will find something delicious from our existing menu to suit your preferences.
b. However, if you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform us at the time of placing your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs within our existing offerings.
