We have been working on the SOP as well as egg color for our Black Copper Marans Pen for 5+ years. Our layers lay anywhere between a 5-9 on the Marans Egg color chart. We hatch out the darkest eggs in the beginning of the season for ourselves and chick orders first. Your Marans hatching eggs may include a mix of lighter speckled eggs, we DO NOT guarantee all dark eggs as Marans hens eggs change daily as the season progresses.
Hatching Eggs are not shipped immediately upon placing your order. Please add your desired ship date in the note section of your order so we can reach out with the next available shipping date. If interested in current wait times before ordering please contact us directly.
There are no guarantees on hatching eggs. Please buy only if you are willing to risk that they may not hatch. Your eggs can be rendered infertile due to x-rays, be damaged during shipping or transport, or be subject to temperature extremes. These are issues beyond our control and are an inherent risk of mailed hatching eggs. We collect and ship out only the freshest eggs that are no more than 1-3 days old at time of shipping. Once they leave our hands and are in possession of USPS we cannot guarantee anything. Per our policy we DO NOT issue refunds or cancelations on orders placed. If we are not able to fulfil the order within the shipping year we will refund you only under those circumstances. You agree to these terms and conditions at checkout when placing an order through us. Please be prepared for a wait of anywhere from 3-7 months from the date of placing your order.
